DIY pet bird emergency/first aid kit
1: Twinnings pure chamomile tea naturally caffeine free give at room temperature (helps with swelling)
2: Q- tips and cotton pads or gauze (for bleeding or applying medical ointments)
3: Tweezers and a small syringe (for plucking any blood feathers and for giving liquids or feeding formula)
4: Towels small or medium size (for handling your bird)
5: Neutrogena alcohol free toner (for disinfecting wounds or any medical tools)
6: spare small cage or carrier (for separating your bird if it has a contagious disease)
7: small container of extra seed or pellet mix (for feeding)
8: small spray bottle filled with warm water (for bathing or helping wash off any blood)
9: Cotton balls for nesting material (keeping your bird comfortable if in a carrier or small cage for medical reasons)
10: surgical gloves (to protect your bird from getting any bacteria that could cause infection even if your hands are thoroughly washed)
